A Big Success
This March, Winterthur Museum's forum Inlay, Veneer, and Imported Woods in America, 1785-1830, brought collectors, dealers, scholars, and museum professionals to hear lectures by leading members of the field. Topics covered included imported and domestically made inlays and veneers, and the types of woods used in their production; regional identification; and hands-on video assisted demonstrations.
