Gallery Exhibition: Circles of Influence
Nineteenth and 20th century American paintings that show the emergence of schools of painting. Beginning with the Hudson River School, the exhibit looks at associations of artists, from those who painted abroad of those who established major schools of painting here in New England. Accompanied by latest edition of Vose ArtNotes. Also on exhibit, winter sale paintings (selected paintings, 10-30% off) and contemporary paintings by Virginia Precourt, Polly Thayer Starr and others.
