| A great country Queen Anne table: maple, in original brown paint with the finest 'scrubbed' top. RI or eastern CT, c.1740-50. With a top measuring 52" x 59", this is one of only two tables this size that I have owned. In' as found' condition, with old home-made repairs to several joints. Sold by Roger Bacon in the 1970's, and in one collection since that time. Such a combination of size and surface rarely appears on the market.
