A fine New England Painted Highboy nicely detailed cornice. Outstanding deep carved fan in lower section and finely shaped skirt. Cabriole legs ending in strong double-pad feet. Boasts original red crazed painted surface over maple and original brasses. Newburyport, Massachusetts, circa 1750-1760. Height 6'5", Width 37", Depth 19"
