English School, c. 1900. Lovely little landscape miniature depicting birch trees framing a winding country path, with lawn and sky beyond. Embossed brass frame with easle back and lovely little custom made case of brown leather with gilt embossing. Miniature, rectangular, 7 cms. X 5 cms. 2 3/4 inches X 2 inches. Case 8 1/2 cms. X 7 cms. (3 1/2 inches X 2 1/2 inches). Excellent condition.
