A Pair Of English Creamware Footed Sauce Tureens And Covers.

The footed tureens of an oval boat form with conforming covers are well painted with named botanical specimen on each side. Around the rim is a brown line. The covers are pierced for ladles and have a loop handle, unmarked.

The botanical specimens are as follows:

Tureen & cover 1: Cover- Daisy & Fig Marigold Tureen- Bell Flower & Pink.

Tureen & cover 2: Cover: Carnation Bud & Jilly Flower Tureen- Zinnia & Marigold.

Circa 1800-1810.
