The jardiniere is painted in famille rose enamels with a scene depicting a jardiniere planted with magnolia, peony and smaller flowers and trailing ribbons and sprigs. The interior is similarly decorated below a wide border of similar blooms interupted by bird and lotus cartouches, all enriched in gilt.
