Very fine and rare Sheraton carved and inlaid one drawer stand, having a square top of figured mahogany veneered on pine, with an edge banded perimeter with alternating dash inlay, above a conforming frame with birds eye maple paneled veneered sides with mahogany cross banded border, the leg stiles with facing veneers of plume birch, all above base inlay of alternating dashes, raised on turned and stop reeded legs with stump feet. Original brass. Minor old repairs to top. Portsmouth, circa 1810-15. Top 18" square, 27 1/2" high.
