Very fine hepplewhite inlaid mahogany pembroke table, rectangular with ovolo cornered top with string inlaid edge, above a conforming frame with one working and one sham drawer, centered between stiles having oval rosebud inlays, above string inlaid square tapering legs with inlaid ebony cuffs. Mint original condition, including hardware. New York, circa 1795.

This pembroke table has a great aspect, with wonderful dry oxidized undercarriage of unusual and distinctive originality, with all original nails and screws undisturbed, and no inlay or veneer replacements or repairs.
