A rare English glazed Chinoiserie decorated japanned vitrine cabinet on stand. The door frames and mullions decorated with an overall diaper pattern interspersed with lozenge form panels with gold floral decoration, which open to reveal three graduated display shelves. The base with a decorated conforming moulding above a dramatic shaped apron with Chinoiserie landscapes throughout on four square chamfered legs decorated with a diaper pattern and lozenges on soft brown lacquer ground. c. 1750
