| circa 1740-1760. Rococo comode, design made by Dietrich or Mirosky, for the Munich Residenze Palace furniture based on Cuvilliers, with molded serpentine-dished top, above two conforming drawers, each carved with bulrushes, flower heads, shells and band work.  The angles with disengaged scroll-carved pilasters with cabochons and wave pattern, the sides with a rectangular panel centering a pomegranate enclosed in wave pattern and foliate scrolls.  The pierced apron has a trellis pattern and central wave design surrounding a cabochon cartouche, on foliate scroll feet.  Orginal gilding and greenish white paint. Size: 33 1/4 heigth, 45 1/2 inches in width, 21 inches in depth.
