Attributed to Joseph Goodhue Chandler. A pair of portraits of brothers. The boys are shown in a landscape setting, typical of New York State work of the 1840's to the early 1850's. They are drawn as full figures and kneeling, each with his dog, simultaneously straightforward and charming.
