Each having a serpentine crest centered by a carved shell continuing to molded swept-back ears, a pierced strapwork splat with carved voluted, trapezoidal slip seats on molded seat rails, front cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet joined to the rear raking square legs by block and turned stretchers, and each retaining a fine old surface and mellow patina.
