Fine Chippendale Mahogany and Parcel-Gilt Looking Glass having a broken arch top with gilded scrolls, rosettes and pendant leaves centered by a carved and gilded phoenix over a carved and gilded oval with raised beads all above shaped ears, a rectangular mirror plate with a gilded inside mirror border flanked by gilded pendant leaves and flowers all above a shaped base. New York, circa 1770. Height 46-1/4", width 20-5/8".
