Rare and Outstanding Chippendale Figured Mahogany Chest-on-Chest having a beautifully molded cornice above three over two over three overlapping graduated drawers flanked by fluted canted corners all over a lower section with a 'folding slide' above three overlapping graduated drawers also flanked by fluted chamfered corners all on nicely executed platformed ogee bracket feet. In an outstanding state of preservation being all original, including the brasses, and retaining a fine mellow surface and patina. *Construction notes:* This piece displays white cedar drawer bottoms running front to back, poplar drawer sides, cedar dust proofing, and rose head nails throughout.
