Fine Pair of Chippendale Carved Mahogany Side Chairs each having a beautifully carved crest above a pierced splat, a molded seat rail, original slip deat frame, and square legs with an outside bead joined by 'H' stretchers. Completely original and retaining a fine old surface and mellow patina. Philadelphia, circa 1785. Height 39', width 21-3/4', seat rail ht. 17'.
