Probably Pennsylvania, circa 1832. An extraoridinary size box covered in a bold allover block-printed wallpaper in yellow and Indian red on a dark blue field. The Christian Advocate and Journal and The Zion Herald newspapers have been used to line this box and are dated "Friday, February 24, 1832," and "Friday, April 6, 1832," and were published by "J. Emory & B. Waugh for the Methodist Episcopal Church, N. Bang & G. Coles, Editors, New York." 17-1/2" high, 18" wide, 14" deep.
