A large, rare, possibly unique ormolu French Empire clock signed "Moinet aine a Paris" ( associated with A.L. Breguet), Rue de la Poterie 1806-20, and dated 1812. Subject loosely based on "The birth of Venus" with Venus blown by the Zephyrs & a multiplicity of water based images, including dolphins & an interesting frieze to the base. 53cms high, 45 cms wide."
