American classical recaimer from Phila circa 1825, some very high style furniture was made in Phila by cabinetmakers like Quervelle. The rear foot is never carved on Phila Empire sofas as it is not carved on this one either. The fabric though appropriate is stained in several places. the Recaimer has been cleaned and french polished & the condition is excellent. Measurements: 70 x 23 inches
