A Rare John Osgood Tall Case Clock Haverhill, New Hampshire, circa 1800 This impressive Roxbury style case, with a fine inlaid oval fan, is probably from the shop of Dudley Carleton. The case not only exhibits superior proportions but it retains an exceptional old surface. Reference: Illustrated in Early American Clocks; Don Maust, E.G Warman Publishing Co, 1971 Page 18. Provenance available. John Osgood's clocks are frequently numbered. This example has the number "18" engraved on the movement. Height: 102" (including finial), Width: 20-1/2".
