A Monumental Classical Gilt Wood Girandole Mirror, circa 1820. This exceptional large scale girandole mirror features a full bodied carved American eagle on a plinth mounted with an ebonized lion face. The richly carved foliate ears and lower drop, frame the original convex looking glass. The four gilt scrolled candelabrums support cut crystal candle holders above crystal boubeche with drop prisms.
