A very fine pair of Chippendale punch work and bright cut decorated brass and wrought iron andirons, attributed to Daniel King, Philadelphia, circa 1780.

This handsome pair of andirons feature turned lemon tops above a tapered column with raised spiral vine decoration. The base plinths are decorated with floral garlands and borders. Each rest upon double spur scrolled legs terminating in bold ball and claw feet.
