A wonderful Classical set of eight rosewood dining chairs, probably Boston, circa 1815-25. These klismos type dining chairs feature beautifully figured rosewood crest panels framed with scrolled moldings above a medial splat with scroll and rosette carving. The paneled seat rails rest upon solid rosewood ring turned and tapered front legs and saber form rear legs. Width at crest rail 18" Height 33 1/2" Seat height 18 1/2"
