| A Parian Figural Group -- Cupid & Psyche.
This terrific parian example depicting Cupid and Psyche is after the antique marble which is now in Rome at the Capitoline Museum. A parian example was shown at the 1849 Birmingham Exhibition. The base is impressed Minton and various other marks including the year symbol for 1865.
