This lovely bench has a rectilinear upholstered seat above a base carved with anthemia joined by a bold turned stretcher. An upholsterers' note identifies this piece as a Tabourett. Further the note states that the pieces was to be covered and finished with a lace border. This piece has been covered with a Scalamandre harateen and finished with a Scalamandre tape.
