This fine mahogany sofa is beautifully made incorporating lovely veneers, detailed carving, and flowing lines. The feet are exceptionally well done featuring hairy-carved paws. The rosettes and foliate-carved elements within the plaques are superbly executed. This piece has been restored incorporating period appropriate techniques and materials and is completed with a Scalamandre fabric.
