A Charming Portrait of a Lovely Young Girl Probable attribution to Thomas Ware (1803–1826) of Pomfret, Vermont. Oil on canvas, circa 1820–25. A paper label affixed to the back of the canvas identifies Harriet Newell Keyes (1816–1832) of Vershire, Vermont, as the sitter. All original in untouched condition. Descended in the family of the sitter. 26¾" x 24¾" framed
